Abstract: Since the 1970s, Mitchell Seligson and his colleagues and students have systematically surveyed the citizens of Latin America on their political views—specifically on democratic values and their behaviors related to democracy. Some surveys were also conducted outside of Latin America, and the number of survey rounds conducted per country varies from one to over a dozen.
